The Shroud Bearer casket allows shrouded bodies to be cremated or buried with ease.
Due to families differing needs, we provide the shroud bearer and the silk ribbon but not the shroud fabric itself. Families may want to use a blanket that belonged to the deceased or fabric ranging from unbleached calico to pure silk.
The unique design of the shroud bearer allows an adequate length of fabric to be used – a ‘proper’ shroud with ties and flaps is not necessary. Note than an optional ‘face cover’ made of plywood is provided if you prefer facial features to be hidden.
